Q) May i know what is coronary artery disease.
A) Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common form of heart disease. It occurs when the coronary arteries are narrowed with cholesterol or fat. This condition is referred to as atherosclerosis.
Coronary arteries supply oxygen and nutrients to the heart. When the arteries are narrowed the heart does not get enough oxygen, the heart muscle is injured, and this results in heart attack.
